Papworth Cardiothoracic BioIncubator
The Cardiothoracic Bioincubator (CTBI) is the first bioincubator on a hospital site, and is part of the Cambridge BioTech cluster.
The CTBI is centrally situated within the pleasant rural surroundings of the Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust site, only 10 miles from Cambridge City centre and close to major road/rail links. Papworth is a leading specialist cardiothoracic hospital, caring for people with heard and lung conditions, including cancer. It has a strong research program, and a particular interest and expertise in health technology assessment.
